Neil Joseph: Presidential Candidate
Neil is a sophomore at Notre Dame, majoring in Political Science and Economics with a minor in Middle Eastern Studies. He is originally from Columbus, Ohio, and lives in Stanford Hall. Last year he was on Freshman Class Council, and is currently serving as the Treasurer of the Sophomore Class. Aside from student government, Neil participates in Political Science research at Notre Dame and works in the Athletic Department as a student assistant in the Media Relations Department. He is also an intern in the Mayor's office in South Bend, captain/player/coach of the Stanford Hall B1 Basketball Team, and is a Tour Guide in the Admissions Office.
Noemi Ventilla: Vice Presidential Candidate
Noemi is a sophomore majoring in Political Science and Peace Studies with a minor in PPE. Originally from Hungary, Noemi grew up in New York City and is now a proud resident of Pasquerilla East Hall. She currently serves as Sophomore Class President for the Class of 2017 and hopes to continue her involvement in student government as Student Body Vice President. Noemi will be representing Notre Dame in the ACC Leadership Symposium this spring and hopes to gain insight on how student government can promote inclusion and create community at Notre Dame. On campus she works at Fighting Irish Digital Media and as an admissions tour guide and is eagerly awaiting the start of the winter co-rec volleyball season. Besides co-rec sports, Noemi enjoys annoying Neil, watching the Office, coffee and meeting new people.
